After talking with managers at two NDIS providers and several support workers, and comparing Deputy, ShiftCare and others, I found that the hardest parts of the job — applying the SCHADS Award, choosing NDIS line items, checking travel claims — are still done by people, not software. This case study maps where current apps fall short and proposes Accord, a worker-friendly, participant-aware alternative.
A fast, SEO-optimised, mobile-first website built from scratch in 2026 for a Canberra personal training business, with a serverless enquiry backend and self-managed online bookings.

Skills
I'm a Frontend Engineer with a background in Software Engineering from the University of Canberra. I specialise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and UI/UX, and I enjoy building applications that solve real-world problems in healthcare, NDIS, and data-heavy domains.
I've worked on hospital quality management systems used by 60+ hospitals, motorsport telemetry dashboards, and I'm currently building Nurova, a SaaS platform for NDIS providers that combines scheduling, payroll, and billing in a compliant, user-friendly interface.
Outside of coding, I've worked as a support worker and soccer coach, which has strengthened my communication, empathy, and understanding of end users—especially within the NDIS space.
